a.k.a. Golfers Gone Wild "Resurrect Your Golf Game"

Rainy skies could not stop you “Golfers Gone Wild”.

Last Saturday, The GGW Tour met at Coyote Run. While some wondered if rain and dropping temperatures in the forecast would cause cancelation of our tournament. True to the Golfers Gone Wild name, your members were EARLY and already on the practice range.

Thunderstorms could not shock The “TaylorMade” Kid. Taylor shot a 41 on the front nine with par on five straight holes #4 through #8. But, First Group Favorites, Lucky Lefty and Kappatain Styles almost caught The Kid on the back nine. Jeff had 2 strokes too many to make up and Lefty ran out of Luck on #18. Way Cool pushed his way into the First Group next week with a 4th place finish.

K Styles did win six skins with a key par on #17. And, despite a day long struggle, Perry Gunn, “Quick Draw”, won five skins.

PLEASE NOTE: By Rule, this was the last round played scratch this year. Six members now have the required three rounds to earn a GGW Tour handicap. This should even up the field.

But, beware, after six months of anonymity in the middle of the pack, “The TaylorMade Kid” has proudly reclaimed his name, after his clubs of choice, and emerged with an early lead for Player of the Year.

Statistics have been updated.

The Tournament Director has chosen, Green Garden Country Club in Frankfort, Illinois as the next Tour Stop. Tee Times start at 1:00 pm. Make Plans To Be There.

Golfers Gone Wild held its Opening Round on Saturday, April 7 at University Park Golf Club by Nate Curry

The famed Augusta Golf Club moved its Masters Tournament up to Easter Weekend this year.  Bowing to our own tradition, Golfers Gone Wild held its Opening Round on Saturday, April 7 at University Park Golf Club. Unlike the Masters playoff finish between Bubba Watson and Louis Oosthuzien, our first GGW Tour Event wasn't close. Steady Eddie had a Masterful Start to the 2012 Golf Season.  Eddie shot a smoking hot 80 and beat the rest of the field by more than 5 strokes net.  Steady Eddie also won…See More
